This Return Policy outlines the terms under which Educationalexper handles refunds, cancellations, and revisions for our personalized outdoor activity plans. Because our products are custom-created digital planning documents, including the Coastal Explorer Day Plan, Alpine Ridge Weekend Plan, and Family Forest Discovery Plan, standard return policies for physical goods do not apply. We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with every plan we deliver and provide clear pathways for resolution when expectations are not met.

2. Nature of Our Products

All trail plans offered by Educationalexper are bespoke digital products created specifically for each client based on individual preferences, fitness levels, group composition, and travel dates. Once a plan has been researched, written, and delivered electronically, the intellectual effort and customized content cannot be returned in the traditional sense. However, we recognize that circumstances change and that plans may require adjustment or, in limited cases, cancellation before or after delivery.

3. Cancellation Before Delivery

If you wish to cancel your order before your personalized outdoor activity plan has been delivered, you may do so by contacting us at team@educationalexper.world or +64212768311. Cancellation requests received before our planning team begins active research on your route are eligible for a full refund of the purchase price. If planning work has already commenced, a partial refund may be offered reflecting the stage of completion. Rush delivery fees of $35 NZD are non-refundable once rush processing has been initiated.

4. Satisfaction Guarantee and Revisions

Educationalexper stands behind the quality of every outdoor activity plan we deliver. If your plan does not align with the specifications agreed during consultation, including route type, difficulty level, duration, or geographic area, you are entitled to one complimentary revision within fourteen days of delivery. To request a revision, contact us with specific details about what does not meet your expectations. Our planners will amend the plan at no additional charge provided the requested changes remain within the scope of your originally purchased package.

Additional revisions beyond the complimentary one are available at $25 NZD each. Revision requests that substantially change the package type, such as converting a Coastal Explorer Day Plan into an Alpine Ridge Weekend Plan, will be treated as a new order with applicable pricing adjustments rather than a revision.

Refunds will generally not be issued in the following situations: dissatisfaction based on weather conditions or track circumstances that changed after plan delivery; inability to complete a recommended route due to personal fitness or preparation factors not disclosed during consultation; requests made more than thirty days after plan delivery without prior contact; plans that have already been revised and accepted by the client; or change of mind after delivery where the plan meets agreed specifications. These limitations do not affect your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where our services fail to meet guaranteed standards of acceptable quality or fitness for purpose.

7. Consumer Guarantees Act 1993

Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, services provided by Educationalexper must be carried out with reasonable care and skill, be fit for any particular purpose you told us about, be completed within a reasonable time when no time is set, and be charged at a reasonable price when no price is agreed. If our outdoor activity planning services fail to meet these guarantees, you are entitled to remedies including correction of the service, partial refund, or full refund depending on the severity of the failure. Nothing in this Return Policy limits or excludes these statutory rights.

To request a refund, contact Educationalexper at team@educationalexper.world or +64212768311 with your order reference, purchase date, and a detailed explanation of your request. We will acknowledge your request within two business days and provide a decision within ten business days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within five to ten business days, depending on your financial institution. If the original payment method is unavailable, we will work with you to arrange an alternative refund method.

9. Chargebacks and Disputes

We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Many concerns can be resolved quickly through our revision process or direct refund procedure. Initiating a chargeback without first attempting resolution may delay the process for all parties and could affect your ability to purchase future plans from Educationalexper. We will provide relevant documentation to payment processors to resolve legitimate disputes fairly.

10. Package-Specific Notes

Coastal Explorer Day Plan ($95 NZD): Refunds for coastal plans may be affected by tide-dependent scheduling. If tide tables change between order and delivery, we will update your plan rather than issue a refund, unless no viable coastal route exists for your dates.

Alpine Ridge Weekend Plan ($165 NZD): Alpine plans are subject to seasonal access restrictions. If your requested dates fall outside safe alpine access windows, we will propose alternative dates or routes before considering cancellation.

Family Forest Discovery Plan ($125 NZD): Family plans include accessibility considerations for mixed-age groups. If specific trail features are temporarily closed, we will reroute within the same general area as a revision rather than a refund.
